Multicomputer Technology Initiative
The Multicomputer Technology Initiative (MTI) seeks to set up a centre
for parallel, distributed computing at the University of Cape Town Radar
Remote Sensing Group. A broad spectrum of technologies are being researched
and implemented. It is intended that the MTI will function as an educational/training
resource both for academia and industry. The project is co-funded by De
Beers and the Department of Trade and Industry.
